Family.

Family is so important to me.
This wall has a lot of photographs of my family, past and present.
I love looking at it everytime I go up or down stairs.

Along with the wall, I also like looking through this book.
It has some very old, very precious photographs from when I was [much] younger.

There's pictures of my beautiful mumsy when my family first came to the states,

my uncle [and my mom's chihuahua] when they were in Vietnam,

and my family's first ever encounter with snow!

These are some of the first photographs they took that inspired me!

There's even a few photographs of me!

And finally, the very very first photographs I ever took (I was 10)!

The cover of the album is a photo of me and my mom.
I absolutely adore polaroid pictures <3

A lovely day...

...with my mom.

Later, we also felt like getting cake.
So that's exactly what we did.

Yum.

Neighborhood Picnic.

This week, Kero and I went exploring for the best picnic spots.

Kero helped...

..mostly he just slept in the sun.

But in the end, we found a couple of cozy spots!

Happy birthday to...

..Frank Lloyd Wright!
He is so inspirational! I definitely wanted to be an architect like him when I was little :)

Yesterday, I...

had chocolate for breakfast,

talked to my long-distance relatives on Skype,

tried to dress Kero,

had lunch,

studied music,

read a book,

and saw a van with a face!

A wonderful day.

On March 5th, I had the immense pleasure of going to see my absolute favorite pianist and musician at the Kennedy Center with my dear mumsy. It was honestly a dream come true; he's so well-known I thought I'd never be able to see him in concert...

It was incredibly surreal. I am starstruck and speechless...
I adored every second and cannot thank my mother enough for giving me this amazing opportunity. <3

Currently working on...

This [not-so] little number:

Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48, No. 1

Definitely one of my all-time favorite songs. That melody..
