Wanna know a secret?

Although I don't consider myself conceited or think highly of my appearance, I love taking self-portraits!
Sometimes it's the only way I can express myself. I'm usually a writer, but I've also been fascinated with photography for as long as I can remember!

Some of the first self-portraits I ever took:

I was really inspired by catching moments that were completely natural- I felt like that was the only way I could take a real self-portrait.
I started taking them when I was sick,

cleaning my room,

even waiting for the bus!

These are some of my more recent self-portraits:

Something fancy.

I had quite a bit of free time today, so I decided to fix up some lunch for myself, Tiger and Kero.
I have an unhealthy obsession with pretty food! It just looks so delightful and yummy.

Anywho, I recently got a new oven so I've been busy at work making lots of pretty things to eat!

I made a plate for myself,

Tiger (who loves wet food but doesn't eat it much),

and Kero!
(He loves bread. I added some milk too- he goes nuts for it.)

Do you play with your food?

Family.

Family is so important to me.
This wall has a lot of photographs of my family, past and present.
I love looking at it everytime I go up or down stairs.

Along with the wall, I also like looking through this book.
It has some very old, very precious photographs from when I was [much] younger.

There's pictures of my beautiful mumsy when my family first came to the states,

my uncle [and my mom's chihuahua] when they were in Vietnam,

and my family's first ever encounter with snow!

These are some of the first photographs they took that inspired me!

There's even a few photographs of me!

And finally, the very very first photographs I ever took (I was 10)!

The cover of the album is a photo of me and my mom.
I absolutely adore polaroid pictures <3

A lovely day...

...with my mom.

Later, we also felt like getting cake.
So that's exactly what we did.

Yum.

Neighborhood Picnic.

This week, Kero and I went exploring for the best picnic spots.

Kero helped...

..mostly he just slept in the sun.

But in the end, we found a couple of cozy spots!

Happy birthday to...

..Frank Lloyd Wright!
He is so inspirational! I definitely wanted to be an architect like him when I was little :)
